The Beauty & Brow Parlour Midland Gate

Don't normally 'cheat' on my regular waxer but went in today spur of the moment and was really happy with my experience. Brows/tint look great. Thank you.

I’m a regular client Anna love the girls, always happy to fit me in and come out looking amazing.

Terrible service. I got an eyelash tint and a brow tint and wax. The beautician spent the whole time talking over me, including spraying spittle on me at one point. Completely unfocused on what she was doing. I ended up with random tint all on face and she spilt water all down my face and neck when she rinsed off the lash tint. I left the shop with wax still on my face, badly shaped eyebrows and a wet shirt... unimpressed to say the least.

I’ve been coming here for about a year now and they’ve always been friendly. Sometimes they’re surprised to see a male client and or for some of the staff members I’ve been a ”first” (male client). Nonetheless this doesn’t affect the way they conduct themselves as they’re professional about it. (;And it doesn’t cost a kidney for eyebrow threading like other places do.

The price is not very transparent. Outside the store, it says eyebrow threading is $12. I entered the store and confirmed with the Asian staff ‘is eyebrow threading $12?’ TWICE. She gave me a vague answer ‘um’. When I finished and paid, she asked for $15. She found her Caucasian colleague and showed me her small pamphlet separately which stated men threading is $15. I initially checked the price with them twice and she just pretended not understanding well so that she could charge me $3 more. I would prefer them to be more honest with their pricing. Being honest to tell me men is $3 more expensive is not gonna turn me away.

I even don’t want to say Hi to you… just telling my how bad experience & the girl was so RUDE ( Naples’s short height )Actually I went last week to Kmart with my husband then I saw this parlour with good prices & I went in talked about getting 3-4 services & I asked about her little discount which she’s agree that time & give me card written on it for the next day service. Next day we went again becoz I have little Bub with me so my husband told you go in I will take care of Bub. I don’t know why that girl behave like this as she said to me ( Naples’s girl ) we don’t give discount and I was there yesterday we didn’t give anyone card even. She said to me you guys are lying about this as she don’t agree & believe us even she saw the card I was as like how she’s talking raising her voice with us & even my husband said that if she want talk to that girl who give us discount as she didn’t just telling us we can’t anything with this & can go.DON’T GIVE DISCOUNT TO ANYBODY IF YOU GUYS DON’T WANT TO AGREE ON ITI went their first time it was my bad experience with that very rude girl. You need to do something otherwise she can be do like this same thing with others as well which will effect your parlour & customers as well. It’s Better to do something or I will go to fair trade about this. I have proof of that even can check the videos from shopping centre about this. THANKS

I have been here on and off for 2 years. I got my usual threading and tinting. I have noticied the decline in care. I left with a noticeable chunk of hairs missing from one of my brows where the thick part is supposed to be right above my eye. Very disappointed in the lack of attention to detail and care, considering it is a main feature of the face. I was told I can pencil it in" to fix it."

I went in today for an upper leg wax as my usual salon is closed.What a huge mistake the girl was rude and you could tell she just didn’t want to be there.Fast forward to the service I received and let’s just say I’m bruised have less skin and also have hairs still all over my top leg.I was a beauty therapist for many years and clearly this lady did not know how to wax. She did not cleanse the skin before hand or pull the skin tight she simply slapped the strips on and ripped hence my bruised and ripped skin.I also walked out with wax all over my legs.I have been to some poor places but this place takes the cake. If I could rate zero stars I would.I would not recommend this place to an enemy if you want hair removal and to walk out with your skin in tact go elsewhere.
